Black women are more likely to experience miscarriage, stillbirth, and the loss of a newborn compared to white women. I am researching to learn about the experiences of Black women who experience perinatal loss to develop initiatives to support Black women.

I have worked with and known Amy for the the past 5 years. This is a horrific loss for the CDC and the work of MMRCs. My heart goes out to her family and those at the CDC.
The victim of Wednesday’s shooting has been identified as Amy St. Pierre, her husband confirmed to AJC. St. Pierre was an employee at @CDCgov
In an e-mail, Benjamin N. Haynes, director of the Division of Media Relations said, the “CDC is deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of a colleague killed today in the Midtown Atlanta shooting. Our hearts are with her family, friends, and colleagues as they remember her and grieve this tragic loss.” bit.ly/3nBb8YS
