• 1 pressure allowed (3.2% rate).
• Excellent in the run game
His story is unreal: Benson won a National Championship at Indiana last season but went undrafted and unsigned. He attended Chiefs camp as a tryout player alongside 75+ players, earned a contract, made the 53-man roster, started Week 1—and balled out against Denver’s vaunted defense.
Per @NextGenStats, Benson allowed the fewest pressures among all rookie OTs in Week 1, which includes 3 first-round picks.

My 5 preseason week 1 takeaways:
1) Cyrus Allen is for real
2) Emmett Johnson would’ve been RB1 for the 2025 Chiefs
3) Jaden Hicks is poised for a huge jump in year 3
4) This cornerback group is going to be one of, if not the best in the league if everyone stays healthy
