Our neighbors are being shot, our children are being kidnapped, and our communities are living in fear.

Arizona Sheriff: I was one of the first law enforcement leaders in the country to end our contract with Flock. It would be irresponsible not to equip my deputies with the best technology to help them do their jobs, but I will never allow technology to supersede your rights. I believe the latest camera networks powered by AI and machine learning are capable of violating our citizens' Fourth Amendment rights. We shouldn't wait for the Supreme Court to tell us something is a violation before we decide to protect the privacy of our citizens.

I came here today because surveillance technology does not exist in a vacuum. Information collected with a Flock camera can become part of an investigation that affects a real human being. I spent 13 days in jail for a crash I had nothing to do with.
