Ran into a friend of @KeyMinistry at the White House today. There is no greater champion for mental health in Christian media than @parshalltalk
Repping @KeyMinistry at #CPC27 in Orlando in January hosted by @INCM. My breakouts: Helping Kids and Teens with ADHD to Grow Spiritually and Mental Health-Informed Children’s Ministry as an Evangelism and Outreach Tool. Hope to make lots of new friends there!

The sickness in our society is profoundly revealed when religious sisters who have devoted their lives to caring for the sick, elderly and dying must go to court to defend their right not to participate in ending those lives.
Archbishop Ronald Hicks @AbpNewYork is absolutely right to stand alongside them, thank you your excellency! The deeper issue here is not simply religious liberty, important though that is, but our increasingly impoverished understanding of compassion. For centuries, the Church has understood that human dignity is intrinsic, not something diminished by dependency, suffering or approaching death. The Christian response to suffering is not to eliminate the sufferer, but to accompany them with love, relieve their pain and affirm their worth, especially when they are most vulnerable.
There is a bitter irony in a state invoking compassion and personal autonomy whilst allegedly seeking to compel those whose entire vocation is compassion to facilitate suicide. Once medicine accepts that deliberately ending a patient's life can constitute care, something fundamental changes in the relationship between doctor, patient and society. We should be profoundly grateful to these sisters. Their witness reminds us that the measure of a civilisation is not how efficiently it facilitates death, but how faithfully it cares for those who can no longer care for themselves. ewtnnews.com/world/us/new-yo…
Hard to look at this data without questioning whether our kids are losing the ability to read and think at a level we used to think necessary for success in college. thomasaquinas.edu/news/tac-s…

The expansion of physician-assisted suicide will be the pro-life issue of the 21st Century. The "slippery slope" now includes toddlers with significant, but non-life threatening disabilities. dailycitizen.focusonthefamil…
Excellent summary article on the negative impacts of social media - especially short-form video on measures of cognitive performance in kids.
Replying to @JonHaidt
This longitudinal study adds to the other studies we reviewed recently, on the correlational and experimental evidence indicating harmful cognitive effects of short form videos:

As CDC redesigns annual health survey, it removes questions about disabilities - these questions are hugely important for good research! statnews.com/2026/10/01/cdc-… via @statnews
Delighted to be part of this week's FREE Church Mental Health Summit from @HopeMadeStrong1 - here's a podcast I did recently with host Laura Howe on the Summit and resources for churches interested in offering mental health care and support. keyministry.org/podcast/192-…
This also has something to do with his parents raising him right.
We’re on a road trip, and my 12 year old son brought his Bible.
I asked him if he read it everyday. He looked at me funny, like I’d asked if water was wet, and said “yes!”
He then proceeded to tell me he reads a chapter in the Old Testament and New Testament everyday. He’s finished 6 books so far.
This is a child who once asked us “who’s Jesus?” when he was 4 years old, because we weren’t saved then.
God works miracles.
Anybody else feel like we witnessed a little divine intervention today to do what the NCAA would not and make the appropriate adjustment to Michigan's record?
Driving physicians who view life as sacred out of the medical profession is a feature, not a bug for those seeking to establish progressive hegemony over healthcare.
My latest: Imagine. Doctors investigated and potentially criminally prosecuted for refusing to kill. Even if the worst doesn’t happen, the threat of such investigations alone is profoundly coercive. nationalreview.com/corner/it…
Excellent article! Delighted to serve alongside - and platform many leaders with disabilities through our work at @KeyMinistry
Few churches would say disability disqualifies someone from ministry. But few have created a space where leaders with disabilities can flourish, write Chaia Miller and Kaz Hayashi.

Looking forward to being part of #CAFO2026 next week in Atlanta. I'll be speaking on What Parents - and the Church Need to Know About Kids with Gender Dysphoria. Happy to connect with friends in the area while I'm in town with interest in disability or mental health ministry!
What in the hell is wrong with the medical profession? This may have happened in The Netherlands, but my guess is there's an uncomfortably large group of docs - and politicians - in Illinois and New York who'd be good with this. billygraham.org/decision-mag…
In Nashville this weekend! Speaking at the 10:45 AM service on Sunday at @gracenaz followed by a "Lunch and Learn" on the culture shifts in churches that do well with disability and mental health outreach. Would love to see old Nashville friends - and meet some new ones!
Jim Schwartz is sitting somewhere with an adult beverage and a very large smile on his face thinking how blessed he was to NOT get the @Browns coaching job.
