Railway Board Chairman & CEO Shri Satish Kumar, along with GM/NR Shri Rajesh Kumar Pandey, DRM/Moradabad Smt. Vinita Shrivastava and other railway officials, paid a courtesy call on Uttarakhand CM Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami. Railway development projects in the state were discussed.
In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Deepawali and Chhath Puja Festivals, Northern Railway, in association with other zonal railways, has planned to run the following #FestivalSpecialTrains as per schedule given below:-

दीपावली एवं छठ पूजा त्यौहारों के दौरान रेलयात्रियों के सुविधाजनक आवागमन हेतु उत्तर रेलवे द्वारा अन्य क्षेत्रीय रेलवे के सहयोग से निम्नलिखित त्यौहार विशेष रेलगाड़ियों का संचालन कर रहा है, जिनका विवरण निम्नानुसार हैः-
मुरादाबाद मंडल के बरेली जंक्शन पर आज दिनांक 29.10.2026 को किलेबंदी टिकट चेकिंग अभियान संचालित किया गया।
मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्रीमती विनीता श्रीवास्तव के निर्देशानुसार एवं वरिष्ठ मंडल वाणिज्य प्रबंधक श्री महेश यादव के मार्गदर्शन में संचालित अभियान में 22 गाड़ियों की जांच की गई। बिना टिकट एवं अनियमित यात्रा के कुल 148 मामले पकड़े गए।
