On 29.10.2026, Shri Md. Jahur, Sr. CCTC/Bengaluru, while on duty aboard Train No. 12577 from Perambur to KSR Bengaluru, noticed a ticketless minor girl travelling alone in the S-2 coach.
Showing alertness and concern, he ensured her safety and handed her over to RPF/Bengaluru upon arrival at KSR Bengaluru for necessary assistance and to reunite her with her parents.
As part of Special Campaign 6.0, an awareness drive on 4-stream segregation of waste, as per the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, was conducted for passengers at KSR Bengaluru Railway Station.
The initiative aimed to promote responsible waste segregation and encourage passengers to contribute towards a cleaner and more sustainable railway environment.
