Turns out walking around in LA will also close rings:

First day of demo on the stable - good progress. If that eucalyptus hadn’t hit it and split the roof 2 years ago, wouldn’t have had the heart to take it down.

A week later, contractors not showing up to start demo until this coming Tuesday (a week behind a week in - that tracks…) Anyway, we need this weekend to clean out the stable fully, fill up the POD, and close those rings!
