How can a company profess a severe labor-shortage requiring thousands of foreign workers while at the same time laying off thousands of Americans with similar or better skills?
That's the question @VP Vance asked Microsoft... He's not alone.
Senators @ChuckGrassley & @SenatorDurbin sent a letter to top H‑1B employers Microsoft, Google, Meta, and Apple: “At the same time you have been laying off your employees, you have been filing H‑1B visa petitions for [thousands of] foreign workers… With all of the homegrown American talent relegated to the sidelines, we find it hard to believe that [you] cannot find qualified American tech workers to fill these positions.”
It's remarkable that no journalist has challenged Big Tech to provide the receipts.

Florida has frozen new H-1B hiring at public universities.
Yet UF filed paperwork for another H-1B position.
After it was exposed, UF President Stuart Bell said the filing was made WITHOUT his approval and had been removed.
Think about that.
A taxpayer-funded university. A financial analyst position. An H-1B filing the president says he never authorized.
Who approved it? And how many similar filings are happening at other universities?
American graduates deserve answers.
