Yah, going to take this further. This is a cataclysmic night for the republicans. Holy crap. Kansas is going blue. Nebraska is going blue. South Carolina and Texas are confirmed blue. There’s been plenty of popcorn eating tonight up here. šŸæšŸæ

I think this is a very clear mandate that Americans are sick of trumps partisanism. Republicans should grow a spine and finally try to push him out. Or don’t. I don’t care if the dems have 65 senate seats come 2028 and 400 electoral votes. That’s the way it’ll go with trump.

Looking to be an extremely shitty night for republicans in the US. South Carolina and Texas looking to flip blue in the senate? Yeesh… Maybe it’s time to stop picking fights with everyone Mr Donald.

By the way, there’s no winner here in the short term. The US gets 2 years of governmental infighting as trump will rule by EO, and the house and senate try to strike down his last 2 years of garbage foreign policy. Not to mention the Epstein files. Oh boy.

COVID update: Checking in on COVID again in the US. The waters are rather murky this year, no clear up or down trend right now. Deaths are still very low even if we compare to last year.

I do think that covid in the US will continue to go up or at least remain relatively high in the coming weeks as the weather turns.

Meanwhile where I live, covid still isn’t doing much. I’m more focused on flu here as it’s been shooting up the last few weeks. We’ve had a rough flu season the last couple years so I’m hoping it’ll be a quick one (though I don’t believe that will happen unfortunately).

I really wonder what world the covid conscious community lives in where, while they never go out in public, they somehow notice that everyone is sick and unhealthy. Meanwhile, covid is still objectively low based off data where I live, and very few people are out sick. Wtf??

If you went off their anecbullshit, it’d seem like everyone is sick right now and the ā€œongoing pandemicā€ is raging on across the planet. Meanwhile, one of my friends had a cold last week and that’s it. Anecdotes beside, covid is still extremely low here!

Flu is surging though. Might be a good time to get a flu shot!

This bickering thread by zerocovid activists has been going on for over a week. A week!! They genuinely have no life. I can’t comment because I’m blocked by OP, otherwise this would be a fun time to shit on these losers.
I need or expect no form of help, Alan, and aside for me none would put up with you guys šŸ˜‚ How many times do I need to invite you to check how many times you morons are posting here compared to me before to try the "no life" argument (while talking about own goal)?

Casually dropping 700+ mathematical proofs is insane. I don’t even know how the mathematics community can keep up with verification at this rate. We’re actually witnessing the complete blowup of an entire research field.
We’re releasing a broad range of new mathematical results produced by an internal frontier model. We’ve been consulting with the independent Advisory Group on Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at the Institute for Advanced Study, and we have drawn on their advice and public recommendations to inform how we release these results. github.com/openai/math
