Week 30 Puffin Update
Weekly Treasury Revenue: ~$24 💰
This week we added 0.01080918 ETH + 1,535,610 Puffin to the ETH / Puffin liquidity pool, with a total value of ~$48 💧
Puffin staking is still live and is currently sitting at 101.31% APR, with 70M Puffin being distributed as rewards across the 90-day pool.
Big news this week - Puffin NFTs are coming!
We're proud to announce the new Puffin NFT collection, with tradeable NFTs, a built-in marketplace and Puffin token rewards paid out every hour to NFT holders.

We've also continued updating the Puffin Battery🔋, which automatically tops up our Puffin canisters when their cycles fall below set thresholds.
We're planning a Battery interface with an option to send ICP directly to the Battery through a Fast Charger. This works alongside the ICP coming from NNS staking rewards, but provides a faster way to fund the system directly.
We added another 20 ICP to the Battery this week, taking it to 29 ICP total. Our longer-term goal is to build the NNS neuron up to 200 ICP, increasing the staking rewards available to help power Puffin's canisters.
Puffinhood Reminder 📌 As announced last week, the Puffinhood dev tokens are scheduled to be sold on 7th November. The funds will be redirected to Puffin ICP.
V1 → V2 Migration 📌 Around 40M allocated V1 Puffin is still left to migrate. Migration deadline: 12th December 2026 Full migration details are in the pinned migration post.

Dr. @sohailmunir , Chairperson of the Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA), met with Dominic Williams (@dominic_w ), Founder and Chief Scientist of @dfinity , and @PierreSamaties , Chief Business Officer, for strategic discussions on establishing an AI Factory in Pakistan for developing production-grade software for the public sector, deployed on the PDA Cloud Engine.
The meeting involved detailed deliberations on developing a sovereign AI Factory focused on GovTech, government applications, and public-sector innovation, with the aim of strengthening Pakistan’s digital infrastructure and AI capabilities.
This marks the second high-level engagement between PDA and DFINITY this year, building on their earlier meeting, which culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The initial collaboration also laid the groundwork for a significant international milestone: UNDP’s adoption of Pakistan’s sovereign Cloud Engines model, reinforcing Pakistan’s emerging role in sovereign digital infrastructure and government-led technological innovation.

👑🥔 MAPTF V2 — THE NEXT STEP
After reviewing MAPTF’s existing token infrastructure and exploring ways to improve it in place, I’m moving forward with preparing MAPTF V2 as the preferred next step for the project.
The goal is to give the project we’re building a clearer, more maintainable foundation.
Our review identified launchpad linked administrative, minting and archive dependencies. A new ledger would allow us to deliberately configure those arrangements from the beginning, rather than continue relying on an unresolved handover.
WHAT WE’RE WORKING TOWARD
Clear, verifiable administrative control. Explicit token supply and minting rules. Properly configured transaction history infrastructure. A documented path toward longer-term governance safeguards.
These are objectives to implement and verify, for the greater good of the project and MAPTF holders.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR HOLDERS
Once implemented, the intended transition is 1 eligible V1 MAPTF → 1 V2 MAPTF, with transparent eligibility, fees and instructions. This is not a new fundraising sale or an opportunity to create an additional founder allocation.
Existing liquidity positions would require a separately coordinated transition. The aim is to preserve legitimate holder entitlements and minimize disruption the community will not need to buy into MAPTF again.
This task is not urgent, but given the whole MAPTF.io launch I think it's a great timing to make this move as a proactive decision for the project’s long term administration and development.
MAPTF.io remains the main product priority. V2 preparation is intended to support that direction.
IMPORTANT: No migration is live. No migration deadline or eligibility cutoff has been announced. No wallet action is required now.
Before holders are asked to act, we will publish the official ledger details, tested migration process, liquidity plan and support arrangements. Never send tokens or approve a “MAPTF migration” link received through an unsolicited DM.
Trust me when I say, I really do wish that I could keep this a V1 coin, but given there's no way to solve the V1 issues, the V2 is literally the only option and there's no doubt in my mind that this will overall benefit MAPTF holders , myself included.
