I can tell you the exact date and time when I became MAGA.
It was the afternoon of September 18, 2018, when I accidentally heard Kamala Harris grilling Brett Kavanaugh over the ALLEGED BUT UNPROVEN high school sexual assault accusation made by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
That’s when I knew something had gone terribly wrong with my country.
Because here was a woman verbally belittling a SCOTUS nominee as though she had every right to treat him that way.
As though throwing decorum out the window was perfectly acceptable.
As though an accusation was all it took to make a man GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT.
I watched a man’s reputation, career, and character become political ammunition, and I wondered what had happened to the principles this country was supposed to stand for:
DUE PROCESS.
FAIRNESS.
THE PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE.
RESPECT FOR THE OTHER HALF OF THE COUNTRY.
Those principles aren't supposed to disappear just because you've turned American politics into a RACE AND GENDER WAR.
That was my wake-up call.
I realized I couldn't sit on the sidelines anymore while the values I believed made America great were being treated as obstacles to political power.
I HAD TO TAKE A SIDE.
Not because I became a Republican overnight.
But because I knew what I was watching was WRONG.
So I HAPPILY voted FOR Donald Trump - and AGAINST ALL DEMOCRATS.

Some had injuries consistent with SHARK BITES. For nearly two hours, he was the only rescuer in the water, refusing to give up on the people fighting to survive.
His name is Josh Law, and what he did deserves recognition.
On October 16th, a boat carrying 27 people capsized about 140 miles off the coast of Mexico.
By the time a Coast Guard helicopter arrived, survivors had spent hours in the freezing Pacific, clinging to wreckage, flotation devices and each other.
Josh was lowered into the darkness, guided by little more than the helicopter’s searchlight.
One by one, he swam to survivors, pulled them through the waves and helped lift them into a rescue basket.
His own suit began filling with water. His strength was fading.
But he kept going.
Speaking to The Associated Press, Josh acknowledged his exhaustion but said what he was experiencing was nothing compared to what the people in the water were enduring.
And he wasn’t alone in making this rescue possible. Helicopter pilot Lt. Miyako Miller and the rest of the Coast Guard crew worked above him, locating survivors and hoisting them to safety.
Sixteen people made it out alive.
Tragically, 11 others were never found despite an extensive search.
What stays with me is that Josh had no idea what was beneath those dark waves. He only knew there were people who needed him.

We sadly mourn one of our own who recently lost his battle with cancer.
Officer Mike Coletti dedicated his life to serving and protecting others, leaving behind a legacy of courage, compassion, and selfless service. Beyond his service in the field, Officer Coletti also served as an instructor at the academy, where he played an important role in shaping the next generation of officers. The lessons he taught and the example he set will live on in the officers he mentored and the lives he helped shape.
While his battle with cancer has come to an end, the impact he made on our department, our community, our recruits, and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
Rest easy, Officer Coletti. Your watch is over, but your legacy lives on in every life you touched and every officer you helped prepare to wear the badge.
