Today's Rare Pepe Set Lesson™️ is the "History of Art Set" by @DanDarkpiIII. The set includes seven Series 8 cards: Card 18 - PICASSOPEPE, Card 23 - VANGOUGHPEPE, Card 26 - MATISSEPEPE, Card 27 - DALIPEPE, Card 31 - MIROPEPE, Card 44 - LAUTRECPEPE, and Card 48 - KUNISADAPEPE.
Each is 1/100 and the current floor price for the set is 0.238 BTC ($18,231 USD).
Only 4 collector wallets hold the complete set. One of those owns 2 full sets! The 5th full set owner is the artist. He still owns between 58% and 70% of the total supply of each card.
There is a physical set of these that is accompanied by an Opendime holding the digital versions on @scarcedotcity with no price (Serious offers only).
Each card is a Pepefied/Wojakafied version of a famous painting with the exception of the Dali which is a photo of the artist. At the bottom of each is the text "Rare Pepe History of Art Series No. x of 24." These 7 were the only ones that were included in the official Rare Pepe Directory and are numbered 1-6 and 8.
Dark Pill has 45 additional ARTISTNAMEPEPE tokens in his wallet without art attached. If I had to guess, #7 in the series would have been LEONARDOPEPE because that is the only one with 100 editions. All the others in the wallet are 10 editions and one is a 1 of 1 (KITAGAWAPEPE).
The Picasso is a self portrait originally titled Autoportrait from 1907 and is currently hanging in the Narodni Gallery in Prague.
The Van Gogh is the last of many self-portraits, painted in September 1889 only months before his death. It is now in the collection of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
The Matisse is titled Dance, made in 1910, at the request of Russian businessman and art collector Sergei Shchukin, who bequeathed the large decorative panel to the Hermitage Museum, in Saint Petersburg.
The portrait of Salvador Dali was by Photographer Philippe Halsman as part of his 1954 book Dali's Mustache.
The Miró is titled Femme, oiseau, étoile (Homenatge a Pablo Picasso) (Woman, Bird, Star) and was painted between 1966 - 1973.
The Lautrec is an 1892 lithograph poster titled Ambassadeurs and is of his friend, cabaret singer Aristide Bruant.
The Kunisada is titled Two Samurai from 1849-1853 and the subject is Kabuki actors Mimasu Daigorō and Nakamura Utaemon.

My thoughts after attending Frieze Seoul 2026:
1. I will be trad art exit liquidity.
2. Galleries those target mid to mid-high are struggling to sell. This is the 10th time I am saying this but gallery model is out-of-date.
3. Galleries will close down and the market will further consolidated, which is a good thing. Only good players will survive. Can’t believe some artists have not get paid yet.
4. Primary market price is crazily high. Way too high VS secondary market from auction houses and private sale. All of those hype artworks and artists back in 2023 are selling 5 - 10c on the dollar. No idea why gallery hasn’t revise the price down. Nowadays, auction houses is a better place to go for acquiring works I like.
5. Continuing from 4, there are way too many sellers who want to offload their works. Top 0.1% it’s art still sell high as premium but again, hype artists those peak in 2023, you can buy 5 - 10c on the dollar (maybe 20 - 35c if the artist still have demand).
6. Takuro Someya Contemporary Art is my favorite gallery at Frieze. Great line up and presentation. Love how they present what digital art to the trad crowds. Highly recommend other galleries to check them out.
7. Met many amazing people from museums, trad art, art advisors, auction houses, gallerists, and artists.
8. The most exciting art to me is digital art and how this term “digital art” will evolve through time. @RtClick_Save wrote a good article about it.
9. Seoul got so many dope museums with great exhibitions. The city is going to become one of the best Asia art hub.
10. Future for art is bright. Remember, buy what you LOVE at the price you can afford.
