Built OjaSnap today at Hacktoberfest Hack Day Yaba. Lagos sells on WhatsApp. So I built a tool for the people doing the selling: - Snap a product photo. - Gemma 4 writes your WhatsApp Status, Instagram caption, and Pidgin + Yoruba versions. - Then it answers "last price?" with YOUR price. Live: ojasnap.onrender.com

I have experienced what it means to be dragged down, to be broke, and to start all over again. I know what it feels like to lose things and have to rebuild from scratch. But one thing I know for sure is that I must experience wealth before I die! Whatever it takes, whatever opportunity comes my way, whatever job or gig I can do, as long as it is good and honest, I will take it. I refuse to spend my entire life knowing what it feels like to struggle without ever knowing what it feels like to be truly wealthy and free. I must experience wealth, I must experience freedom and I must live the life I dream of before I die.

If you see some peoples work ethics, you’ll realize you don’t want it as bad as you think you do.

In hindsight, getting the MTN FibreX may not have been the best decision. Having my internet depend exclusively on when NEPA gives me light is just stupid. Very stupid, in fact.

Some of you are too scared to take risks and it shows. In my 3years living in Lagos… I’ve rented a house in lekki, I’ve spoken on big stages, I once slept on my sister’s couch, I’ve moved houses 4x(scammed once). I’ve built 2 companies(1 failed), I’ve hosted a tech event in Lagos, I ran broke many times😂 I switched careers twice too.. I stay in motion! Mind you i don’t have rich family. The fun of life is the ups and downs. Stop pursuing stability and do big things! Chase your dreams! You’re young fgs🤍

There’s literally nothing you cannot learn, you can learn how to draw, how to fuck, or even how to dance. Forget talent, just learn it if you don’t know it.

Hi @Shalom_HeyEliy, I'm a designer and a big fan of Lagos Life I noticed a gap: no page shows the game before you sign up, or shows brands how the ads work So I designed and built one. Unofficial, and it's yours 🔗lagoslife-concept.vercel.app

When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen (Isaiah 60:22). We just won $100,000 at the Build with Gemini XPRIZE and I am so overwhelmed. When the competition started we kept asking ourselves what we should build, and eventually I asked, what about Nigeria? I thought about my mum, who has been a tailor for more than 30 years and practically raised my twin sister and me on that income. It was hard sometimes, because her customer base was so small, and she would often wait weeks before a customer paid for a completed job. In Nigeria this is a huge problem for a population where most of the employment sector is made up of artisans. So we built MyFixam, the marketplace where you can find and book verified artisans and pay straight on the app. The competition had more than 26,000 participants and 1,400 projects. On Friday I pitched live at Moonshot Live, the Oscars for optimism, in front of more than 1,500 people, to judges Cathie Wood, Palmer Luckey, Mark Pincus, Anousheh Ansari and Logan Kilpatrick. To make it to the top 3, I am more than grateful. Thank you @xprize, @GeminiApp and @PeterDiamandis.
