This disgusting dismissal of people's actual material, economic, social, and even spiritual degradation under the imperialist and neoliberal policies he and every president before and after him championed should have been challenged by SOMEBODY in that audience, but I suspect it was a highly curated one that ensured no detractors were allowed in. @BarackObama should stop trying to tell the story of what the people he never cared about actually want and need. How the hell would he know, since he deported, bombed, and didn't stop any domestic police or legal/judicial oppression and injustice against so many people; he couldn't have had time to talk to anyone to find those things out. He did A LOT of lecturing Black activists and protesters demanding accountability and some kind of improvement of their material conditions, though, and still changed not one damned thing. Even with control of both houses of Congress, the White House, and an opportunity to drastically change the Supreme Court. He just...didn't bother because it wasn't a priority for him. The people's needs that the people expressed to him were simply not his priority, as is the case with every other imperialist warmongering fascist president this country has had, and that's all of them. His legacy is the infrastructure for continued forever war, unaffordable health insurance, privatized public education, and an entire national for-profit detention center infrastructure complete with facilities for children separated from their families that he expanded as he earned the title Deporter-In-Chief. We've had enough of his hollow hope and change. It was wide enough to drive a few genocides through, with space for more global imperialist oppression to spare, and he won't even acknowledge that any of that is happening, right along with every other worthless Democrat and Republican, who are ALL racist, genocidal zionist ghouls. We've heard enough from the people who created the hell we're living in today. Shut the hell up already.
