Congratulations @HundleyHayes on signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs! Hundley becomes the 11th OBJ alumnus to sign an NHL contract. From 2015-2023, the Upper Arlington native was a core piece and team captain of the 2005 OBJ team.

Unfortunately, most of today’s culture in youth, college and pro sports has lost this formula. Been fortunate enough to see far more players / teams succeed following this formula vs those who chase the race for the name on the back.

We believe that if you are a problem parent in youth hockey, you’ll be a problem parent in college hockey too. If you talk to college coaches, they’ll tell you they’ve crossed talented kids’ names off their list based on the conduct of parents.

Last weekend, the 16U Girls team celebrated their graduating players from the 2009 birth year during their final home weekend. These players have been a valuable part of a growing girls program including four players who were a part of the inaugural OBJ Girls team relaunched in 2022-2023. We are excited to see what the future holds for them!
