ONE MAN LEFT We are once again asking for the Met to offer a shred of consistency if they are going to enforce this unjust and absurd law. After hundreds were arrested outside the US Embassy in London, one man was ignored. End the madness. Lift The Ban on Palestine Action.

In El Fasher, civilians endured months of hunger, violence and fear under siege. When the city fell, their suffering only deepened. One year on, Khalid*, a doctor who survived the atrocities and was detained alongside thousands of civilians, shares his harrowing testimony.

Sudan Doctors Network: 21 Killed and More Than 40 Injured in Preliminary Toll from Shelling of a Market in Nyala The Sudan Doctors Network expresses its deep concern over the loss of life resulting from shelling that targeted a market in the city of Nyala, South Darfur State. According to preliminary information available, the attack resulted in the deaths of at least 21 people and injuries to more than 40 others. The Network explains that the release of this statement was delayed due to difficulties in verifying the information, given the challenges of accessing field documentation sources within Nyala amid ongoing active military operations and security constraints that hinder efforts to monitor and verify the conditions of victims and the injured. According to corroborating information obtained by the Network from multiple medical and local sources, a number of those killed and injured were civilians present in the market at the time of the shelling. The identities of all victims and the circumstances surrounding their presence at the site remain under verification, particularly in the absence of detailed and confirmed casualty lists. The targeting of markets and other gathering places frequented by civilians is a matter of grave concern. Such attacks lead to increased civilian casualties and complicate medical and humanitarian response efforts in conflict zones, further exacerbating the suffering of populations already facing deteriorating humanitarian conditions. The Sudan Doctors Network calls on all parties to the conflict to comply with international humanitarian law and take the necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian objects. The Network also calls for an independent and transparent investigation into the circumstances of the incident, to establish accountability and ensure the protection of civilians from the effects of military operations. The Network reaffirms that it will continue to monitor the incident and update the information as soon as verified data on the number and identities of the victims become available. It's one year since the siege of El Fasher ended
One year since El Fasher fell to the RSF, the international community has failed to take the necessary actions to address the desperate plight civilians face as the conflict rages. There has been little accountability for abuses in North Darfur. Read more 👇 amn.st/6019BHgUfh

It has been a year since the kidnapping of the journalist Muammar Ibrahim by the RSF militia. He was the only journalist reporting on ground during the siege. He didn’t have any political affiliation. He simply reported the truth. #KeepEyesOnSudan

Getting out of El Fasher alive was only the beginning. More than 6 in 10 residents fled, over 107,000 of them in the first weeks of bombardment. Many walked all the way to Chad, and UNICEF says over 130,000 children reached the border starving and dehydrated.

SAF indiscriminately bombed Abyei and killed over 70 people at a market. A market that so many rely on because the war and environmental conditions have made it near impossible to sustain crops. The loss and traumatization our people continue to be subjected to is so infuriating.

Incredible. Don’t forget on 17th of October, 1961 France killed hundreds (exact number is unknown) of Algerians dressed in their best clothing protesting in the most ‘civilized’ way in Paris. Their bodies were thrown in the river. In addition, 12,000 Algerians were detained by police. This was during the Algerian war of independence.
