Incredibly thankful for time spent re-connecting with friends at @sai_iowa this weekend (who also happen to be INCREDIBLE leaders)
Every administrator needs a great network to lean on, and these folks are some of the best! Feeling fulfilled and excited to take on the year!
As a new administrator, I really appreciate Mr. Vaughan’s mentorship and his reminder to never forget the little things as leaders. Even if it means staying late to shovel sidewalks, it all makes a difference! (of course we know how to add a little humor and fun into it too 😂).
One strategy is to set up rounding conversations and/or end of year interviews with your staff. This could be done in person or digitally. This gives you a way to hear feedback & you can compliment your staff before summer!
