The path to graduation should prepare students for more than a diploma - it should prepare them for what comes next.
With new graduation requirements approved by @DCSBOE, #DC students will see changes to the high school experience, including a greater focus on real-world skills and more flexibility in how they earn credits.
More pathways. More practical skills. More possibilities.🎓

Remember: we all have a role to play in helping students get to and from school safely.
If you will be driving on Monday, slow down, watch out for pedestrians, and stop at crosswalks and for school buses.
Let’s work together to make it a great first day of school!
