Operation Mincemeat - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. A brilliant story, a mix of great songs and amazing performances by only five actors! I’ll be booking tomorrow for the 2027 tour. Highly recommended! 🎭 @captheatres
Man to man - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 90 minutes of excellence from Tilda Swinton. 🎭 @traversetheatre
Duck Pond - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Struggled to get in the mood at the start, but this was actually excellent circus, acrobatics and comedy. All with a Swan Lake theme. 🎭 @captheatres

The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. A new interpretation but featuring many of Sparks’ best lines. Strong performances all round: it took a while to get used to ‘this’ JB, but she was excellent, as was Mrs Mackay. A crème de la crème of plays. 🎭 (10 Oct) @lyceumedinburgh
Barnum: the Circus Musical - ⭐️⭐️. I liked Barnum as a character, the circus acts and the band. But the show jumped around and the stage felt too busy. The family behind chatting didn’t help. G didn’t come back for the second half. Some you win, others you lose! 🎭 @captheatres
The Steamie - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This show’s new to me but it’s clearly a well-kent Scottish classic. Great storytelling, humour & singing, including the nonsense of the Mince Monologue. Beneath the laughter, stories of life as a wummin, loneliness, youth and age. 🎭 (9 Oct) @captheatres
Thanks @LNER. I’ve reported it online and have my fingers crossed. @networkrail
