Intelligent and efficient routing and decision making is extremely valuable both as a business and for a customer/consumer. When you look at products through this lens you see it in other places in two sided markets food delivery and ride hailing matchmaking being one example.

And it's real -- not a concept, a working machine. You step into a shallow pool of warm water, a ring of half a million sensors sends sound through your body from every angle, and ~60 seconds later you have a 3D map of your insides down to a fraction of a millimeter. No radiation, no tube, no lying still.
They're not even building it as a hospital machine -- they're building a spa. The scan is a side-effect of a place you'd want to hang out anyway.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

Multi infra redundancy has always been best practice if not essential when possible for commoditized services in your stack. Compute and storage are two of those things. The more you build on a dependency or 3rd party you need to weigh the tradeoffs of each DevEx simplification. No one is up 100% of the time. Have a contingency and fallback provider or graceful degradation. The more stateful the service the harder that is. Tough day for the Railway team
Google Cloud has blocked our account, making some Railway services unavailable. We have escalated this directly with Google. The Railway Platform team has since confirmed access to Google Cloud and is working on restoring access to all workloads.
We have access to some of our Google Cloud–hosted infrastructure and are working to restore the rest of the service. We apologize for the disruption.
What could go wrong
We are investigating unauthorized access to GitHub’s internal repositories. While we currently have no evidence of impact to customer information stored outside of GitHub’s internal repositories (such as our customers’ enterprises, organizations, and repositories), we are closely monitoring our infrastructure for follow-on activity.

A couple of weeks ago I left Consensys after nearly a decade since we launched Infura.
It's been an incredible journey and a true privilege to help power Web3 through multiple cycles alongside some of the best people in this industry. The brilliant core devs and hardworking RPC teams. The creative builders and diligent security engineers and auditors. The world-class founders pushing the frontier of token design, blockchain scalability, and decentralized coordination.
I'm deeply grateful for everyone I've had the good fortune to work with, support, and build with along the way.
I'll share more about what's next another time.
