Family, I’m incredibly excited to officially introduce my fifth book, Leaves in the Wind. 🍂This story means so much to me because it isn’t just something I imagined, it was inspired by real moments, real people, and real lessons I’ve experienced through Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service. It continues the journey from my fourth book, The 50 Yard Challenge, but this time the story moves into the fall season and shows that serving others can happen in so many different ways. In Leaves in the Wind, Rodney and the kids spend a day serving their community with rakes in hand, bringing yards back to life while learning lessons that go far beyond yard work. They discover what it means to honor veterans, how powerful mentorship can be, how rewarding it feels to meet someone’s need, and how even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference. Along the way, they’re also exposed to different career paths, new experiences, and the simple joy that comes from making someone smile. That is what I love most about this book, it reminds kids that you don’t have to be older, wealthy, or have everything figured out to make an impact. Sometimes all it takes is your time, your heart, and a willingness to help. A very special thank-you to my amazing illustrator, Valeria, for once again bringing these real-life moments to life through her beautiful artwork.
