November is a sincere month of feather brown and antler grey, when we stop lying to ourselves with our clocks and temporal machinations.
No lies in November. No lush green glade in which to hide. Winter arrives and you are either prepared or not.
This is good. An honest, stark time.

"Under a narrow, arched doorway, surmounted by one of those demoniacal grotesques in which the cynical and ghastly fancy of old Gothic carving delights, I saw very gladly the beautiful face and figure of Carmilla enter the shadowy chapel"
J. Sheridan Le Fanu "Carmilla" 1872

🚨 We urgently need blankets at our Philadelphia headquarters! 🚨
Our Animal Law Enforcement team recently rescued a large group of cats, many of whom are battling panleukopenia, a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening disease.
The cats are being cared for in isolation areas, and our team is taking every precaution to protect them and the other animals in our care. Staff wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict cleaning and sanitation protocols to help prevent the virus from spreading. We take the health and safety of every animal here incredibly seriously.
As part of these precautions, we have to throw away the blankets these cats use during each cleaning to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. This means we’re going through blankets much faster than usual and urgently need donations to help keep our cats warm and comfortable.
If you have extra blankets to spare, we could really use them right now! Donations can be dropped off at 350 E Erie Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134. You can also shop our Amazon wishlist: amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2Y…
Thank you for always showing up for the animals who need us most! ❤️

Upon the warm sea lies a wondrous stone, a ruby
And upon that stone, a maiden-faced bird.
She sings sweet songs of Paradise,
She spreads her feathers wide, she veils the sea,
Whoever hears the song forgets the whole wide world.

We are in the year of the fire horse and a numerological year of 1.
This year may have felt like a year of having to take action but the energy of the fire horse could have had you taking action for the sake of just “taking action” when it was actually ego based, not rooted in health, not in the right direction and impulsive.
The fire horse was here to push us to free ourselves internally, to listen and to regain our own consciousness.
If you spend anytime with horses you will truly see how in tune they are to everything, how they spend most of their days in stillness and how sensitive they truly are to their surroundings/people.
They teach us how to regulate our nervous system and how what we are doing/feeling affects them when we ride or spend time around them.
They are deeply healing and most of all very aware.
Yes they can be free and run wild in nature but first they are free within themselves.
This was actually a year of slowing down, coming back home to ourselves and truly finding ourselves away from everyone and re-attuning to ourselves to regain our power, consciousness and sovereignty.
It was a year to show us how far away we had truly gotten from ourselves, from our hearts, from our purpose and from our souls truth… so that we can reclaim and retrieve all of ourselves without the pressure of making any big changes.
It was a year to rediscover yourself, to tend to your healing and to find out what you truly want.
Next year is the year of the Fire Goat a year 2 this is where we are currently building into… it requires us right now to slow all the way down and truly check in with ourselves… and be honest.
What do you want?
Where do you want to go with yourself and your life next year?
What needs to be changed now?
Where do you need to come back into your power and reclaim your own life?
What actions do you need to take now to get back on track and really create the life you truly want… not one that you are settling for?
Where do you need deeper healing?
What is your spirit asking you to face within yourself?
