This one is hard. We chatted for years at our nail salon, and I remember wishing her a happy 93rd birthday there. Lovely, gracious & glamorous without trying, she seemed so pleased when I told her how great she looked in her original North by Northwest dress on the Oscars one year. "Really", she asked? REALLY!!, I told her! She seemed unsure of how fabulous she was! A true artist & star. #RIPEvaMarieSaint

Took the Amtrak Borealis from Saint Paul to Milwaukee for a work conference this week. @Delta wanted over $650 for this route, @Amtrak was $127 and a much better experience. Flying sucks, and even the best airlines are just good at making it less terrible. More trains, please.
