You can now create and publish apps from Entire repos using @appwrite , the open-source cloud for agents and developers. Appwrite handles the backend, while we take on the source control. Your agents take everything in between.

We’re constantly working to improve the security posture of projects built with Appwrite.
Today, we added ~26K new throwaway email domains to our disposable email detection, bringing the total to nearly 100K blocked domains.
Enable “Block disposable emails” in Appwrite Auth to stop fake sign-ups at the door. Disposable emails are commonly used to abuse free resources, create fraudulent accounts, and support other malicious activity.
We will continuously update our database to stay ahead of new disposable email services and better protect Appwrite-powered projects.
Excited to announce our new partnership with @GoEntire 🚀
Entire just launched a new Git forge built from the ground up for humans and coding agents to build together.
Now, those agents can go from code to production on Appwrite - deploying Sites and Functions directly from Entire, with every push automatically built and deployed.
A new Git workflow for agents, connected to an end-to-end production infrastructure.
Big congrats to the @appwrite and @GoEntire teams for making this happen! 💜🩶
MCP events are now available on @appwrite 🚨
Announcing MCP Events for the Appwrite MCP server ⚡
Your AI agents can now subscribe to new users, failed function executions, finished deployments, new TablesDB rows, and uploaded files, and react as they happen.

Railway is an Appwrite competitor in many areas, yet for anyone looking for an alternative, what happens right now is not a Railway issue. Railway has some of the best engineers out there and a great platform.
We’re at the entry of new times in software security. The amount of critical CVEs in such a short time is unprecedented and all efforts by teams and companies have to double, triple and even more.
just got royally fucked by this
so you're telling me i pay railway every month to keep my secrets safe, and now i have to rotate every single one of them myself
except all deployments are paused, so if i rotate now my app breaks, and if i don't, someone else might have my keys
fml, what's a good alternative to railway?
gotta move before i scale my app any further
TanStack Start 1.0 is stable 🎉
Congrats to @tan_stack and @tannerlinsley.
Here's how to put your app online with Appwrite Sites:
1. Connect your repo
2. TanStack Start is detected and the build settings fill in
3. Deploy and watch it build
4. It's live on appwrite.network

We just dropped JSON in favor of binary serialization across all our cache systems at Appwrite, resulting in up to 69% less memory consumption, 29% higher RPS, and a 22% reduction in request latency.

A friendly reminder: Appwrite is open source.
Our MCP is open. Everything you can do from the Console or API, you can do through MCP.
Run on Appwrite Cloud or self-host anywhere.
Open source. Open MCP. No lock-in.
That’s not changing.
