Luttig: The precursor of this constitutional crisis is when and if Mike Johnson removes the incumbent clerk and replaces them with a loyalist.
That will tell the American people that Trump and Johnson are going to try this unconstitutional effort.
The loyalist clerk would refuse to list on the official roll of members-elect anyone that Mike Johnson told him not to. Hypothetically here, Democrats elect—and in particular, enough Democrats elect—so that the Democrats would not constitute a majority…

Today, we’re announcing the new CC – an AI agent built for families to spend less time on logistics and more time together.
You can now:
👤 Add up to 5 members to your CC agent
☀️ Start mornings aligned with a shared "Your Day Ahead" brief email
🗓️ Autosync schedules & to-dos with a shared Google Calendar and Tasks

For today's “Pogue’s Posts" column, I tested the new AI Siri. HARD. It missed a few out of my 125 tasks—but some of its triumphs were jaw-dropping. If you can get into the habit of using Siri, you'll do a lot less opening apps, fumbling around, and wasting time.

This is why Trump can’t stand Black women. They don’t take his shit.
Let’s appreciate Rep. Joyce Beatty for being the fighter we need.
Trump: “I think you’re incompetent.”
Beatty: “I know you’re incompetent.”
Then she reminded him: “You had more bankruptcies than anybody in the room.” 🔥

On a recent Saturday afternoon, Regina Carter parked a U-Haul van in front of the Morris Houses — the Bronx public-housing project where she lives — and began unloading 55 big-screen LG TVs onto the sidewalk to hand out to her neighbors. In these parts, the 38-year-old is known as the Furniture Queen for the pop-ups she runs through her tiny nonprofit, Repurposed Life. When offices and college dorms want to get rid of their used furniture and appliances, they call her, and she collects and redistributes them for free at housing projects around the city.
At Carter’s pop-ups, it’s first come, first served. No one asks for names or poses any other questions. “We’ve had people roll up in nice vehicles and ask for things. It’s not really my place to say, ‘Oh, you rich? Why you over here looking for stuff?’” said Carter. “The point is to keep it out of the landfill.”
Carter was inspired to launch her service based on her experience growing up in the foster-care system and trying to make it on her own. The native New Yorker bounced from family to family and then to a group home. She had her first child when she was 15 and her second at 17. When she was 21, the city moved her into an apartment in the Morris Houses with her two children, but it had no furniture. “We were sleeping on the floor,” she said. Now, she estimates her organization has redistributed more than half a million pounds of materials since its official launch two years ago.
