Hope more #mubb folks make their way over there

I didn't realize this UNC-Miami game is being played at UNC tonight. I'm wondering how many of these folks are going over to the Franklin Street Halloween craziness after the game. Between the game and Halloween, I can't begin to imagine how bad the traffic will be tonight

No one will ever convince me that Game 6 of the 2011 World Series wasn’t the single greatest comeback in sports history
What an absolutely crazy ending to this game. This has to be crushing to Brewers fans. Good news is you are still leading 3-1 in the series
Even though it is preseason, watching #mubb beat Michigan State on my birthday is the best present ever.

A few readers have taken me to task for “missing the point of the film,” which is apparently that Elizabeth Holmes is unknowable and everything is ambiguous. Here’s my response: She went after Tyler Shultz and Erika Cheung with everything she had. I was threatened with litigation on a daily basis for months on end. It was a ruthless cover-up of a breathtaking fraud, and she was at the controls. Just a little context for those who have forgotten or didn’t follow the original story. By the way, I loved the film. #BestPicture, IMO.
A ton of people have asked me for my thoughts about “You Can See Everything,” the new Elizabeth Holmes documentary. Here they are: nytimes.com/2026/10/17/busin… via @NYTimes
Congrats to my Brewers friends. I know it has been a long time coming.
We are now halfway to an Edmund Fitzgerald World Series. If the Guardians win, it will be the first time that two cities where the Edmund Fitzgerald docked meet in the WS.

If Milwaukee and Cleveland meet in the World Series, it would be the first time in history that the World Series features two cities where the Edmund Fitzgerald once docked.
In case you were wondering.
They got North Carolina right because the Durham Bulls are the Rays Triple A team.
However, St. Louis is not rooting for the Brewers. I say this as a Cardinals fan who went to college in Milwaukee.
I'm rooting for whoever is the AL champion.

The “protect women’s sports” and “the AI meme of a college football coach punching a woman sports reporter was funny because she’s not conventionally attractive” Venn diagram is a circle

Remember when men *on here* were telling women that we were overreacting about the U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team laughing at Trump’s joke about the women’s hockey team? This is why we’ll keep overreacting, thanks.

WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS 🇺🇸🏆
congrats to Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Stephanie White on winning gold in the FIBA Women's World Cup 🥇👏
For what was supposed to be a rebuild year, there have been a lot of great moments for Cardinal fans. I'm proud of my team. #stlcards
