When I bought this book, I was initially intrigued by the book cover and title, and I honestly didn't expect to find well curated and researched essays, 12 in number, that resonate so much with the African woman. It's a book I would recommend to every girl child especially one kin in understanding their history, in that it debunks the many lies that have been forcefully pushed down our throats. It also gives a sense of belonging and identity which is made possible by the thorough analysis of our cultural heritage, which has been well explained in the book. A cultural heritage that is rich and calls for each and every one of us to embrace it, without fear or shame. I just hope that you have a substack account @lornalikiza . I would really like to read more of your works.
