Embr.fun

a summary of the prev two weeks on @embrdotfun CoC last epoch was a two week long fight between our leading meme and a promising upstart. the biggest creator took home $1800, and their challenger took home $1000 INIT some strong strategies here especially after comparing against zora/base/heaven/solana land. are fees the true flywheel for creators? the numbers show that the making good memes that deal good damage probably yields better revenue -- also some additional improvements beyond the mobile refactoring 🌽 [double health] -> We are revising the double bet bonus for level 1 to only apply for the first $50 of bet. This means that for level 1, $50 will act as if $100, while $200 will act as if $250. The purpose of the level 1 double bet bonus was to gently intro newer players into the ecosystem. Changing the bonus to the first $50 keeps that integrity while reducing unnecessary bonuses to more experienced players that game this by opening new accounts

[@embrdotfun] updates and reflections epoch 8 lot of new players so UI has moved itself higher in our prioritization list - working on better mobile UX--> had a couple reports of COC crashing after a few turns on mobile. we've made some changes to reduce particle animation count and load on mobile. will be doing a bigger code refactoring to make the battle UI better on phones - more methods to level up --> scoping something out to double click on the recent amount of XP gainers, should be quite good some other small releases as well equip step --> can buy token collateral directly on the battle page now without clunky steps to navigate to the trading page + better sorting / indicators of (new) meme bonuses waiting room --> we implemented a new headbutt feature where you can headbutt other players off platforms. a bit hectic when there are 50 players in the room since now everyone's basically flying around. we will be continuing to roll out / test new features and perks in the waiting room
