Feminine mystique except you can see exactly when I had a moment of weakness from my project’s commit history
I love these jokes bc I’m a woman of Chinese descent who started working for the government at 16 and eventually became a defense engineer
I’ve sat through enough counterintelligence briefings to appreciate just how long this punchline has been in development
Bad weather means I stay indoors to enjoy my rent and use pantry constraints to drive sourdough development
“I can change him”

It’s hard to go from in love to let go in a week with no warning, but that’s just how it is sometimes 🤷🏻♀️
I feel happy that I got to show Elon how it feels to be deeply understood, nurtured, and peacefully loved with stability and gentleness. Given the tumultuous nature of his early life, his often tortured soul, and how hard he fights for humanity I wanted him to feel the deepest and most stable form of love this world can provide. My heart is full knowing I got to do that, and I hope it leaves a lasting good effect.
We were always his safe space. A place where all of us were overjoyed to see him and one that was always full of happiness and love, not war, in contrast to his otherwise militant existence (a needed break from the battlefield where he could recharge his heart and soul before heading back out)
I loved being that counterbalancing place of safety, sense of calm, and love — and delighted in bringing a smile back to his face when he was down. I will miss him dearly.
I’ve loved him more than life itself and he’s taught me 100 lifetimes of knowledge and made my cup overflow with life meaning, so there is a lot of loss, but luckily we created four beautiful little loves of my life ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am so beyond grateful for our children and they make every single day the best day of my life! I do hope and pray he and I can be great friends and coparents.
I’m hurting, but care deeply about E and will always be cheering for his happiness. God speed, Elon, the world is lucky to have you.
I support workplace diversity !!
(One neurotypical person should be required in every room full of engineers)
Every CAD folder eventually becomes a graveyard of
final.step
final_v2.step
final_REAL.step
final_USE_THIS.step
final_USE_THIS (1).step
Every woman should have a quintessential chocolate chip cookie recipe they can make on command and pass down for generations
Date idea: you explain your weird niche and I politely interrupt with questions that are somehow more niche
D2D sales except it was 18 y/o me in a pretty sundress scamming frat guys into buying my sourdough for $20 a loaf
Never underestimate the social utility of knowing one deeply weird fact about whatever industry the person in front of you works in
I’ve spent years becoming a competent engineer just to discover that my dream job is to bake sourdough goods for ppl I love
Every new productivity app eventually becomes another place where I maintain a list of things I am not doing
Moleskine notebook + muji pen ftw
I love seeing advances in home robotics on my feed. Ofc the distance btwn an impressive demo and a reliable household robot is enormous, but I’m rooting hard for this future precisely bc I value a very human one
‘Return to tradition’ and ‘embrace technology’ are only opposites if you think tech should determine how we live rather than give us more freedom to choose
My techno-optimism is deeply feminine. Automate the repetitive maintenance of life and give us back our time for the beautifully inefficient things like
>elabourate dinners
>curating a home
>making lots of babies
>loving ppl well
Optimise the machinery so we don’t have to optimise being human 💌
Today we’re releasing Helix 2.5
We rented 30 homes in the Bay Area. The robots arrived with no additional training and started doing useful work

My favorite type of person is someone who can explain something complicated without making you feel stupid
There’s a huge difference between being good at something and being good enough at it that you can make it legible to someone else. The latter is much rarer
Moved to Austin ~3 weeks ago w/o a car and have become a Robotaxi princess. 30+ rides and I genuinely haven’t opened Uber or Lyft once.
What surprises me most is how many people I meet outside of tech who don’t know Tesla Robotaxi exists or that it’s separate from Waymo. I’ve ended up showing a lot of people the app/interior, and even let a curious woman I met at a coffee shop ride with me once lol
The experience has been consistent. Cars are clean, the cabin is quiet, the console UI is intuitive, and account connectivity works well. I’ve only had 2–3 notable wait-time issues across 30+ rides. Lost & found and support have also been excellent every time I’ve needed them !
My main gripe is pick-up/drop-off. Sometimes we reach the destination and the car keeps driving while it looks for somewhere safe to stop. Totally understandable, esp on busy streets, but it could communicate what it’s doing more clearly
Small feature request: ride history should show total rides + cumulative Robotaxi mileage. Simple, but it would make frequent usage much more fun to track 💌 – at Austin, TX
Motherhood making some women less politically neurotic may be a feature, not a bug. When you become responsible for a tiny human who has to inhabit the world for the next 80 years, you start noticing how much of modern life is engineered to make trivial things feel consequential. You can remain informed w/o feeling obligated to engage w everything. That isn’t apathy
Raising a capable, decent human who will contribute to society is a far more productive form of civic engagement than marinating in the news cycle. Your child is quite literally the future everyone else is busy arguing ab
one of the most interesting things i saw happen when my wife got pregnant and became a mother was how much of the world just stopped mattering to her
she used to be interested in current events and world news, but then she became a mother and just... stopped caring. she still knows what's happening and we talk about it, but it doesn't bother her anymore. about 90% of the mundane problems, politics, social issues and internet drama that used to occupy her mental space are just gone
at the same time, her views became much more conservative and detached from politics in general
pregnancy and motherhood seem to completely reorder the hierarchy of what matters
