if u have a crippling gambling addiction like me, being a long only trader is a recipe for disaster. ur incessant need for action will ruin u when mkts arent going up
either handle ur addiction or stay addicted and learn to trade both ways. or find a different game that gets u ur fix like sportsbetting, poker, prediction mkts etc
remember the times when u had certain coins get max attention/volume from the mkt, went on insane heaters and sucked the life out of everything else in the market?
like doge, shib, sand, mana in 2021, xrp in jan 2018/dino coins late 2024, btc numerous times, etc
would be hilarious if hype did something like that right now wouldnt it
it will be quite obvious in hindsight that low cap shitcoins are a terrible vehicle for social trading, whereas perps have the most synergistic relationship
been getting into golf the past few months so iv started to get a lot of golf related stuff on my social media algos, saw a post today w hundreds of comments debating whether golf is a sport like basketball, football etc or just a game like darts, bowling, chess etc
imo, the first principle that anyone should follow when it comes to any sort of debate is, "does it matter?"
like if golf is proven somehow that it is clearly not a sport, does it matter to me at all? the answer is a clear no. i will still enjoy playing it. i dont care if people unanimously agree that it is just some dumb game where u hit a ball with a stick into a hole and not a sport. it literally doesnt matter. so why do people care so much, enough to make a huge argument on the internet with hundreds of comments?
I feel like people will generally live better lives if they ask themselves "does it matter?" because most of the time it doesnt matter and therefore isnt worth spending time or braincells on
