CryptoBilis update
We've been made aware, through responsible disclosure, of a single hardware implant in a Trezor Safe 5 device bought from the reseller CryptoBilis in August 2026.
No CryptoBilis buyer has reported a loss of funds to us.
IMPORTANT: If you bought a Trezor from CryptoBilis from March 2026 onwards, we know this is unsettling. Here’s what to do:
Already using it?
Move your funds to a newly created wallet with a new seed as soon as possible. Do not reuse the old seed in any wallet, hardware or software. If you don’t have another secure hardware wallet available, we recommend temporarily migrating your funds to a software wallet or an exchange you are familiar with.
Not set up yet? Don’t set it up, and never enter your existing wallet backup on it.
We haven’t received the device to confirm this report, but based on the customer’s description, we’re treating it as credible and sharing it now so customers who purchased a Trezor via CryptoBilis can secure their funds as a precaution. Our security team will examine the device as soon as it arrives.
On October 9, 2026, we removed CryptoBilis as a reseller following reports of tampered Ledger devices sold through it. Since then, we have been inspecting Trezor devices that customers bought from CryptoBilis and have found no signs of tampering on any of the four devices we’ve received so far.
NEVER share your wallet backup (recovery phrase) with anyone. Trezor Support will never ask for it.

A Few Lessons for Everyone Trading This Crypto Market Right Now.
The biggest mistake traders are making in this market is treating every pump like the beginning of a bull run and every dump like the end of crypto.
Right now, money is rotating from one narrative to another. One day AI coins are pumping, the next day memes, DeFi or some random Binance altcoin is leading the gainers.
Here is how I would approach this market:
1. Stop chasing green candles.
Just because a coin pumped 20–30% doesn’t mean another 50% is coming.
Most people become exit liquidity by entering too late.
2. Focus on quality setups. You don’t need 10 trades every day.
Even 3–4 good trades a month can make a difference if your execution is right.
3. Watch BTC before trading alts.
If BTC is approaching major resistance while your altcoin is already up 20–40%, consider taking some profits.
Alts can lose their momentum quickly.
4. Understand liquidity rotation. Not every coin will pump together.
Money often moves between sectors, so identify where volume and attention are building before the masses arrives.
5. Don’t marry your bags.
A coin can have the best fundamentals, partnerships and catalysts, but if price action invalidates your setup, respect your risk.
6. Keep cash available.
You don’t need to be 100% invested all the time. Some of the best opportunities come when everyone else has already used their buying power
Dips Buying at right time will grow you portfolio exponentially
7. Avoid overleveraging.
In a choppy market, one sudden BTC candle can wipe out days of profits. Small positions and proper stop losses keep you in the game.
One thing I learned after years in this market:
You don’t make the most money by trading the most.
You make money by understanding when to be aggressive, when to take profits and when to sit on your hands.
Protect your capital during the boring days so you have enough ammunition when the real opportunities arrive.
The market will always give you another trade.
Make sure you’re still here to take it.
