HOW TO BEND TIME 😱😱😱

It’s always “let’s grab coffee” and never “let’s drive into the mountains and find sick bugs”

Our annual EntomemeHalloween bug costume party is coming to Nevada City CA on October 30th! It’s the 6th year running my online costume extravaganza, so we wanted to do something really special and have our first in-person costume party! We are still running our online version like we do every year. But now you have the option to come party with bug nerds IN PERSON at Elixart elixir and tea bar in beautiful Northern California. We have a rad venue in a beautiful town and all we need is you and your bug costumes. The party will have a meet n greet, bug lecture by me with live exotic bugs you can handle, as well as bug vendors, food, a raƒƒle, bug costume contest, and a dance party with a DJ afterwards! I even teamed up with the venue to create a special new bug elixir just for this party called BUG JUICE!! Be sure to grab one. There was a great turnout to our first party in June, so I am excited to see what creative bug costumes you all bring to this one. We have over ONE KAY in goodies donated by the Entomemeology community that we will be giving the top voted bug costumes and raƒƒlin off. The rules for this all ages event are simple. To enter, costumes must be insects, arachnids, or other invertebrates (IE: annelids, gastropods, crustaceans, etc). Couples costumes count as one costume. Bug cryptids and super heroes also qualify. If you aren’t sure, just ask below! There is public parking near the venue, and entry to the party is a twenty spot per person. I will do another post with all the goodies we are handing out to best costumes and who contributed them soon. This is going to be the most epic Entomemeology party to date, so bring your best bug costumes and don’t miss it! Entomemeology IRL parties are a biannual event now in Northern California. Hope to see you there! Slides 8+ are costumes from previous EntomeneHalloweens!
