Honda Aircraft has cut its 2026 HondaJet Elite II delivery guidance to roughly 15–16 aircraft, down from earlier expectations of 26–30 and well below the company’s normal steady-state rate of about 25–26.
A supplier bottleneck is the stated reason. The company said production should recover over the next 12–18 months.
Backlogs stay firm while deliveries slip.
Anyone who was counting on a new Elite II and needs to fly sooner, I’m your guy ;)

NBAA wrapped its Aircraft Connection static display at HND this week.
Roughly 50–80 aircraft were on the ramp, ranging from Lights and Turboprops up to ULR models from Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault, Textron and others.
Every October this event is a a temperature check on where money in Öl aviation is moving.
Strong exhibitor and aircraft presence again this year is consistent with the confidence the industry is showing heading into 2027!
I don’t really understand why there’s so much hate around this aircraft and its CEO.
I think it looks great, and if it delivers on what they’ve promised, even better!
Can someone fill me in on where all these strong opinions are coming from?

On October 1st, Solairus closed its deal for Clay Lacy’s aircraft management and charter divisions. Combined, they’ll manage about 500 aircraft. That’s the largest managed private fleet in the world.
Clay Lacy keeps the FBOs, maintenance, and real estate. Only the management and charter side moved.
The big operators are getting bigger. Smaller independents are getting squeezed. For clients that means fewer choices at the operator level, which is exactly why having a broker who shops the whole market still matters.
Love that we‘re not just getting the next ULR, but a Super-Mid with this!
Has a little Praetor 600 look to it.
Would you consider the G400 or go with other Super-Mids instead?
The highly anticipated #G400 is reaching new heights.
The first fully outfitted #Gulfstream G400 has completed its first flight, marking another major milestone as the program advances toward certification. The aircraft flew for 2 hours and 46 minutes and reached 48,000 feet, putting its 11-passenger cabin and systems through their paces in flight.
And the momentum continues. En route to #NBAA2026 in Las Vegas, an experimental G400 also established a new city-pair speed record from Miami using a blend of sustainable aviation fuel. Together, these milestones mark continued progress toward G400 certification.

If you ever considered booking a private jet, what was the main reason you ended up not booking? (Asides from money)
Always interested to hear other thoughts!
The fed raised rates again in September, and there’s still plenty of uncertainty around where the economy goes from here.
What does this mean for private aviation?
Historically, new aircraft purchases feel the impacted first. Many buyers hold off, look at the secondary market, or charter instead.
A slower economy can create more aircraft availability and more motivated operators, which results in more competitive pricing.
Either way, uncertainty in the market creates opportunities!
Yesterday we talked about the busiest route (IAD - TEB),
The 2nd busiest private jet route in the world is….
West Palm Beach (DJT) - Teterboro (TEB)
In the last 12 months, over 1,825 recorded movements.
Goes to show you how big the Palm Beach market is in private aviation!
The BUSIEST private jet route in the world takes 48min, and we saw the NFL matchup yesterday 🛩️
Dulles (Washington DC) to Teterboro (NYC)
Surely there will be some repositioning legs included but still… a short hop that most commercial fliers barely even think about.
Btw. 6 of the Top 10 routes go out of Teterboro. Still the king of this industry👑
Global business jet activity was up 2.6% in the first week of October compared to last year (79,700 departures).
While +2.6% doesn’t sound like a lot, that’s over 2,000 more departures
