Usually when celebrities become super famous they leave Canada. Drake has chosen to stay in his hometown and terrorize us.

NBC election night coverage being the most watched was entirely on the shoulders of this man. We are wacky for Kornacki. I want him covering every election. Midterms, presidential, municipal, school board. I’d tune in for it all.

You gotta wonder how they convinced this guy to run in Yorkton. Like, might get the vote up a little bit but he’ll still get absolutely creamed. Few places in Canada hate the Liberals as much as that region of Saskatchewan. I suspect a post election appointment to something!
As an entrepreneur and Mayor of Yorkton, Aaron Kienle knows how to get things done for communities across Yorkton—Melville. He’ll be the strongest voice to deliver for his region with Mark Carney’s Liberal team, and we're thrilled to announce him as our candidate for the upcoming by-election!

The plan to chop up Lethbridge, a city of 100,000 is so outrageous and obviously an attempt to rig the map. So blatant I wonder if they’ll drop it to make creating urban/rural splits in Calgary more palatable to people.
The UCP are going to gerrymander Lethbridge in to oblivion because they need, in the Premier’s Chief of Staff’s words, to “level the playing field.” They can’t out-work the Lethbridge NDP, they got their asses beat 4 times in a row, so now they figure they need to cheat to win.

And for what it’s worth, even conservative Saskatchewan ditched its urban/rural split seats in the last map redrawing as the cities had grown more. And yeah, the NDP ended up winning those new seats. But the maps were undeniably fair for both urban and rural constituents.

Is there a way to do a full tenant versus homeowner analysis of the election? Common consensus seems to have always been that renters don’t vote, but they’re half the city and seemed to have turned out for Chow in a big way.
Note the little enclave of strong Chow support in Eglinton-Lawrence. The area is composed predominantly of tenants. #NotAllEglintonLawrence
