The Second World War is over. In the last six years, perhaps 85 million people have been killed by fighting, starvation, disease, bombing, & deliberate mass murder. Three-quarters of them were civilians. 3% of the planet's population has died.

The explanation for this is that the OutsideLands concert caused this. This is a massive red flag. Autonomous cars will be a huge liability in a disaster scenario.

#OTD in 1983, 3,000 friends and family of the crew of USS Enterpise waited on a pier in the rain for the carrier to return from an 8 month cruise only to see it get stuck in the mud 1,000 yards out. The crew lined the port side in an effort shift weight and dislodge the carrier.

Flew to Columbia, CA and then headed back to San Carlos. The CA Central Valley flooding from the big melt has started. Didn’t see too many farms flooded. But clearly that’s coming.

USS Carter Hall racing in for the recovery. Haven’t checked the water depth there yet but I’d bet they have the debris located already and may even have it recovered within a day or two.
