With the leaks happening, everyone needs to pump the brakes. The uniforms have storytelling details that you don’t get from two dimensional renderings, a lot is missing. Hold tight & wait for the launch to see them as intended before passing judgement. #NHL

Many of my favorite hockey jerseys were designed by this awesome guy. From the #SJSharks original third jersey by Nike, to the upcoming HomeTown Remix, he’s been a part of.

From early days at Nike to the last 10yrs with Reebok, Adidas & Fanatics. Creating branding and uniforms for 2 expansion franchises, developing Reverse Retro, working on event and third jerseys, and helping sharpen the classic look of my hometown Buffalo Sabres. #LetsGoBuffalo
The HometownRemix will be my swan song from hockey design, and only fittingly, my last uniform is for the @BuffaloSabres. It involves a story I've wanted to tell for years, about Buffalo's pivotal role in history. More to come...

Barry was my best friend at ESPN. A big brother figure of rock solid values. I am shook to my core. Barry gave his life to hockey and some of his ESPN family, like me, learned of his shocking death today while at a hockey rink in Las Vegas preparing for the upcoming season. Chilling and fitting--the rink was Barry's home. A more beloved ESPN institution there has not been. We love you, Barry. Forever.

All 32 @NHL teams are dropping Hometown Remix uniforms this season. Inspired by the fans, cities and culture that make each team feel like home.
The Bills new alternates are pedestrian. Lazy, cliched tropes. Uninspired. Unnecessary.
Grey and dreary like WNY from October through May.
The helmet design and the uniform are two separate ideas, that do not go together IMO.
Oh well, Go Sabres!
