Team Ireland's John Donoghue has been awarded his World U19 Championship gold medal.
John, of Olympic BC Mullingar, claimed the 70kg title with a unanimous decision win of Bibarys Ashirbay of Kazakhstan.
This is John's second World title - he was crowned a World Junior champ in 2023.
Yet they still operate with impunity. Everyone else has to zip it and deal with their atrocities. This isn't a controversial issue, the evidence is staggering, the international association of genocidal scholars have concluded they're (Isreal) committing genocide. #FREEPALESTİNE

Councillors passed a motion for Drogheda to become an Apartheid-free zone earlier this year. It received unanimous support.
Today we finally had the opportunity to thank members of the council in person, including Mayor of Drogheda, Michelle Hall, who put the motion forward in response to Israel's oppression of the Palestinian people.
It was also an honour to meet with local group Drogheda Stands with Palestine.
We share a history of colonisation with Ireland. The support of the Irish people gives us strength. The Palestinian people see the Irish support on their TVs and mobiles.
We trust that we will gain our freedom, just as Irish people have gained their freedom.

Starting next week, my government will implement the following actions:
First, we will change the law in Spain to hold platform executives legally accountable for many infringements taking place on their sites.
Second, we will turn algorithmic manipulation and amplification of illegal content into a new criminal offense.
Third, we will implement a hate and polarization footprint system to track, quantify, and expose how digital platforms fuel division and amplify hate.
Fourth, Spain will ban access to social media for minors under the age of 16. Platforms will be required to implement effective age verification systems — not just checkboxes, but real barriers that work.
Fifth and last, my government will work with our public prosecutor to investigate and pursue the infringement committed by Grok, TikTok, and Instagram.
