this is the pop song that has grown on me most this year; I was opposed at the outset but the tossed off Gen Z/later Millenial comment section talk about “serving” in the lyrics has grown on me and it simply has The Energy this kind of song should have
I like when a pop song throws the ambition of the artist at you, “Motivation” and “Me Against the Music” being two other greats. The way each of them gets her own highly orchestrated diva moment in this performance has stuck w/ me as an amusing and well-executed exhibitionist bit
