Training Mistake: Waiting until you’re “100%” to train will get you nowhere fast. “100%” hardly comes by. Show up daily and give what you have. The results will come.

Wouldn’t it be great 😌

Whenever I get down on myself I just remember: Some people believe that turf causes injuries…

Why movement first? Why do that primarily with middle school? It is much easier to teach a good MOVER (can sprint, jump, cut, has a large movement bank/good literacy) how to excel in the weight room… Than it is to teach a weight room warrior how to move in the field

For more advance advanced athletes that need some more strength/size but have hit a plateau: Pyramids (Ex: 5,4,3,2,1,2,3,4,5) ✅Volume ✅ Intensity ✅Accounting for fatigue

We will: ✅Lift heavy things and light things ✅Jump, Sprint, Cut, and Throw ✅Work on speed AND capacity ✅Get good at our sport, also

Training should be comprehensive. It’s never all or none.

What is the best warm up???🤔 Seems like such a simple question and maybe even one that may not need this much attention, but let’s break it down:

By tailoring warm ups to the task, it allows us to better dial in and focus our mental energy to the appropriate areas of the focus ⚡️ This is why a specific warm up for sprinting would be more ideal than just a jog, for instance.

All in all, the notion that “just do some lighter sets/slower reps” may not be ideal. It is not inherently wrong, but we can squeeze more juice out if we are more dialed in 🔥
