When The Conservatives try something, they get pushback from part of their base (red tories, populists, etc.). When The Liberals try joining the European Union, nobody on their side bats an eye. That's the difference.

Every Canadian Leader's silence on this is an endorsement
Mark Carney and Ursula Von Der Leyen both speaks at a business roundtable at the EU-Canada Summit in Montreal. Mark Carney reiterates that Canada his government is working toward making Canada an associate member.

Canada needs the right to bear arms. This is completely unacceptable and it’s getting worse every month.

this is fucking disgusting
🚨🚨New personal record for Carney: Carney and entourage drop $175,000 on airplane food during one international trip. Beef tenderloin with demi-glace sauce. Veal escalope with lemon and capers. Truffle risotto. Seabass fillet. Crème brûlée. That’s what Carney and his entourage ate on one trip to China, Qatar and Davos. The bill: $175,248 for airplane food. That’s his most expensive airplane food trip yet. "Spend less" lol taxpayer.com/newsroom/beef-f…

Here's my rebuttal to Brian Lilley The Canadian Right has to stop being scared of victory:
Replying to @brianlilley
Yeah I don't care in this instance. PSPP being a thorn in Carney's side at this moment really isn't that big of a deal. Conservatives don't have to do this. We play by the rules, and they don't. Mark Carney wants to get us into The freaking European Union. He stokes division on a near-daily basis. He barely shows up to Question Period. The Conservatives can play in the grey area *a little bit* in order to advance their interests. The Liberals have been taking every inch of political space for the last 11 years, ethically or non-ethically. I lived in Toronto in 2021. I could not go to the gym for months at a time. I couldn't even go golfing by myself. Liberals called a snap election in the middle of the pandemic, at the exact moment their poll numbers were favourable, in order to grab power for longer. The pandemic wasn't even over. There was another lockdown after this election. We are up against unethical people. Conservatives choosing to be super principled in all cases is not getting the movement anywhere. Again, there is a grey area that the movement won't even touch. The Liberals will. They will live in this area. I want to win. I don't want to watch Mark Carney fear monger his way into absolute power for the next 15 years.

sorry but how can any conservative in Canada be against PSPP standing up to Mark Carney? ARE YOU KIDDING ME GUYS? Liberals use every dirty trick in the book to beat us. Every single one. Just take the win.
Okay, enough with the theatre. If this summit were held anywhere else, the local premier would not be demanding to give a speech at the event and to run their own negotiations.

This guy winning might shatter Mark Carney's entire facade
