For decades, some American universities seemed almost immune to the ordinary dynamics of the market: their prestige appeared permanent, independent of cost, tangible outcomes, or their ability to adapt. Today, however, more and more families are asking not simply how prestigious a university is, but what value it actually offers—in terms of maturity, experience, responsibility, opportunities, research, and results in the so called real world.
The decline of an institution, however, often begins long before it becomes visible "Visibilia ex Invisibilibus" @eseschool

Why I removed the desks from my school
In my school @eseschool I eliminated all the desks, the professor's desk and the student's desk, because I don't believe you can teach something to somebody else.
That is violence. That is a crime: to instill something. All of that stuff is second-hand knowledge, false ideas, obsolete notions. To instill that into a young man, a young woman, is a crime. That is poison.
There is no distance in my school. Because a student is coming with a very precious material: his, her youth. Freshness. Creativity.
We should pay the students to come to the school.
And the schools as they are, the universities as they are, will fail in a couple of decades. They will disappear, if they do not change.

In my school we tell our students: never, never beg for a job.
You come out of the @eseschool , but never go around begging for a job. You are the creator. You cannot be an employee.

This is the dawning of the new Era of Golden Creative Leisure.
It is time, then, for a new, silent, secret revolution: an individual revolution capable of transforming the current dreary systems and creating a new man, one free from destructive thoughts and negative emotions. A new generation of human beings who understand that all we see and touch, all we perceive: the skyscrapers of finance, the pyramids of industry, the discoveries and achievements of science and technology, all that we call ‘reality’, is nothing but the projection of an inner, invisible world: a world of ideas and values that runs vertically to the plane of our existence - the world of Being.

I really believe in the individual and not in the masses.
The crowd is for me an entity that has to exist just to balance with the individual. I wanted and I founded a school for individuals not for crowds. @eseschool

I have dreamed of a School that believes that happiness is economy, that only a man who dreams can create wealth. A School where a new generation of leaders will learn that economics is the Art of Dreaming @eseschool

Man is already ready. Intelligence and love are already in every man. I see it in every student. My experience is that we should not add anything to the students, but bring them out with the beauty of their originality, eliminating what I call 'the old education'
