Southwest has to be in the mix here too. I've been getting constant sale emails from them even through the current gas price spikes and the last time I flew them a few months back the planes were half empty.
why do professors do grading schemes like this just dont accept work at that point. students just give up if they find themselves turning it in late.
as a TA i've always thought it'd be better to penalize mistakes in late submissions harsher, e.g double points deducted for errors
