Let's be honest. Republicans losing control of Congress isn't as big deal as Democrats are making out. Republicans failed to accomplish as much as they should have, like the SAVE America Act, with control of both houses the last two years, in large measure because of Senate Majority Leader John Thune.
The next two years may simply serve to make Democrats look impotent and weak as they don't get any legislation passed, either.
