This year I have earned ~$250k from audits so far:
- Contests: ~$185k
- Private audits: ~$60k
- Immunefi: $6k
Looking back, there were a few key insights that helped me achieve this:
1) Keep pushing when you're on a streak
2) There are no secrets. All the top auditors rely on the same tools and strategies
3) Assessing competition and making smart choices is crucial
4) Apply your unique skills first then learn new skills
5) You don't get better results from optimizing productivity and wishful thinking. You get better results by working more and learning from feedback
6) Collaborating and talking to others is fun but be prepared that you must do the work alone
7) Make a decision and stick to it. Consistency is key
