đź”´Statement of the European Communist Action on the 2026 G7 Summit, which is dangerous for the interests of the people
The main leaders of the Euro-Atlantic capitalist bloc will meet at the G7 Summit, to be held in Évian, France, from 15 to 17 June 2026, to update capitalist arrangements regarding energy, which is highly costly for the peoples, the so-called security and anti-people governance.
The 2026 G7 summit will take place in the context of efforts to halt the consolidation of the capitalist bloc led by China, thanks to its capitalist development, which, in alliance with Russia, is challenging the United States for the status of leading economic power.
The European Communist Action condemns the anti-worker and anti-popular orientation and policies of the bourgeois governments of the G7, NATO and the European Union which, amidst the growing contradictions and tensions between major capitalist competitors, seek above all to secure their access to natural resources, the routes for transporting them, as well as control over technological services and their production chains, invariably to the detriment of the working conditions and lives of the peoples and workers.
The negotiations concerning a ceasefire in relation to the latest developments in the imperialist wars in Ukraine and Iran, which will be on the agenda, will be fragile, while the conditions that are taking shape carry the risk of a generalization of the war that could lead to more serious consequences for the peoples of the respective regions and the world.
While capitalist monopolies share the world among themselves, the people suffer and are subjected to unbearable living conditions. The United States and Israel are continuing their genocidal aggression against the Palestinian people. The criminal blockade imposed on socialist Cuba is now accompanied by military threats of attack, as reflected in the presence of the US Army’s Southern Command (Southcom).
The European Union, for its part, intensifies its plans for military rearmament, including a wide range of measures of further militarisation such promoting development on key industrial areas directly or indirectly linked to the war industry, expanding public spending on the military in the framework of NATO needs, and so on. Moreover, it is escalating attacks on workers’ rights and the criminalisation of the worker-popular movement, notably through its anti-communist resolutions.
We call upon the peoples to strengthen their struggle for the disengagement of their countries from the G7, NATO, the EU, and every imperialist alliance and to wage a determined struggle against all forms of bourgeois administration of the capitalist system, whether liberal or social-democratic.
We call for the strengthening of the worker-popular movement, its independence, its organisation, its collective struggles and its class orientation to confront the capitalist monopolies, to defend stable work, quality healthcare and affordable transport, and prevent the peoples from being sacrificed in the imperialists’ slaughterhouses of war.
In the face of imperialist aggression, we call for the strengthening of solidarity with the peoples of Cuba, Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Venezuela, and all other peoples.
The European Communist Action reaffirms that the only solution to stop the suffering of the working class and the people is the intensification of the struggle to overthrow capitalism through the Socialist revolution, with the establishment of the worker’s power, Socialism-Communism and a centrally planned economy.

The Great October Socialist Revolution inspires our struggle for a world free from class exploitation and imperialist wars
108 years ago, the victory of the October Revolution demonstrated the power of revolutionary class struggle and paved the way for a society free from exploitation, insecurity, poverty, unemployment and war. It became a turning point in the history of humanity,  brought to the fore a superior form of social organization, socialism–communism, which is radically opposed to previous exploitative formations.
The socialization of the means of production, centrally planned economy and worker participation represented a profound qualitative leap in social development, delivering significant social achievements for the people.
Today, as humanity bleeds and is torn apart by imperialist wars and interventions, the first Decree On Peaceissued by the new revolutionary power of the Soviets symbolically illuminates the path that the peoples must forge through their struggle.
We are aware that today we act in a particularly negative correlation of forces, but we refuse to yield to it. After all, the entire history of the October Revolution and everything that preceded it proves that the negative correlation of forces is neither eternal nor immutable. The working class, in alliance with other popular strata, hold the power to overturn it!
The course of history cannot be reversed; our era remains one of transition from capitalism to socialism. For this reason we reject any form of management of the exploitative system and the reformist policies of compromise that aim to manage and perpetuate it. We direct all our efforts to gathering forces for the revolutionary overthrow of the decayed capitalist system.
The victorious Great October Socialist Revolution inspires us and has indelibly marked the path for humanity’s historic transition “from the realm of necessity to the realm of freedom”.
Our struggle to enable the working class to cast off the shackles of exploitation, overthrow the barbaric capitalist system, and build a new socialist society continues!

Τhe European Communist Action salutes the heroic Cuban people and the Communist Party of Cuba on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban revolution, the first socialist revolution in the Americas, which is an inspiration and shining example for the working peoples of the world that, through their struggle, they have the power to overthrow capitalist barbarity.
Since the overthrow of the Batista tyranny, the route taken by Cuban revolutionaries has not been an easy one; they stood up against imperialism, repelled invasions, survived imperialist interventions and attacks and resisted the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States for more than 60 years. The determined and long-standing resistance of the Cuban people is a response to the barbaric aggression against Cuba, with the inclusion of the country in the US’ unacceptable and arbitrary list of “states sponsoring terrorism” among others.
Despite the imperialist efforts to suffocate the island, the firm decision that the Cuban people have made with the revolution and the course of socialist construction have led them to achievements in important aspects of their lives, including health, education, science, culture and sports.
Despite limited resources, Cuba has not hesitated to extend its fraternal hand and put its medical and educational achievements at the service of peoples as an example of internationalism.
Loyal to the historical legacy of Fidel, the Communist Party of Cuba is today faced with serious adversities.
The European Communist Action, like the overwhelming majority of the peoples of the world, firmly stands with the Cuban people and the Communist Party of Cuba and calls for the intensification of the struggle for the unconditional lifting of the barbaric US blockade and inclusion of the country in the arbitrary list of “states sponsoring terrorism”.
The European Communist Action strongly rejects any subversive plans and manipulative social network and the mass media campaigns that are aimed at intervening in Cuba’s internal affairs, destabilizing its political system and undermining its and sovereignty.
The European Communist Action declares its determination to further strengthen the bonds of solidarity with Cuba and the Cuban revolution, the experience of which can and should be utilized to defend history and the contribution of the communist movement, to strengthen proletarian internationalism and the struggle for socialism.
Long live the Cuban Revolution!

ECA Statement on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People
On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the parties of the European Communist Action once again condemn in the strongest terms the barbaric Israeli aggression and the continuous support provided to Israel by the US, NATO and the EU, which have brought nothing but suffering and death to the peoples of the region.
This aggression, which has moved to a new stage of escalation for more than a year, has turned into a genocide aiming to completely suffocate the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank and deprive them of their right to have an independent state. Alongside the genocide in Palestine, we witness a criminal aggression by Israel against the Lebanese and the Syrian peoples.
The power and arrogance of Zionist Israel rests on the full support of the US-NATO-EU and serves the interests of their monopolies. For this reason, the Palestinian people fight not only against the occupying state of Israel, but also against the US-NATO-EU and their plans in the competition over the control of trade and energy routes in the wider Middle East region.
We salute the brave Palestinian people and the Palestinian fighters who are resisting against the occupation and have never surrendered in the face of the atrocities by the occupying state. We also salute the Lebanese people who continue to struggle utilising their deep-rooted resistance and people’s solidarity and have managed to pose big obstacles to Israel's invasion attempts.
In the face of the criminal Israeli aggression and the ongoing resistance of the Palestinian people, our parties:
- Raise the demand for an immediate end to the genocide in Palestine and the brutal Israeli aggression against the Lebanese people and the other peoples of the region. We struggle for an immediate end to the massacre caused by Israel’s barbaric attacks and the inhumane blockade, which denies the Palestinian people access to basic needs such as water, food, medicine and health care, the ban on UNRWA and the obstruction of humanitarian aid.
- Continue to call for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza and the other regions.
- Reiterate that they will continue to denounce the involvement policies of governments in the slaughterhouse of war in the Middle East and their covert or explicit relations with Israel. All trade relations that sustain Israel economically and the direct or indirect supply of arms, fuel and technical equipment to the Israeli occupation army must be ended.
- Defend the right of the Palestinian people to a free homeland, to be masters in their own land, to establish and recognise an independent Palestinian state on the borders established before 4 June 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, alongside Israel. Demand the cessation and dissolution of the illegal settlements in the Palestinian territories, the release of prisoners in Israeli jails and the return of refugees to their homes in accordance with UN Resolution 194.
- Express support for the Palestinian and Lebanese communists, the militants of the Communist Party of Israel and all the fighters of the people who are waging a vital struggle of resistance under very difficult conditions. Declare that they will act with the responsibility to strengthen international solidarity against the genocide in Palestine.
- Salute the mass demonstrations organised all over the world in solidarity with the Palestinian people and the militant initiatives of trade unions in ports, railways etc. which block shipments of arms and ammunition destined for the war. Invite all the peoples of the world to stand up against Israeli aggression and the dangerous plans and competition of the imperialists in the Middle East.
