We added 2 new @Midnight_Skills so your agent can do passkey login. No seed phrase.
Here is what each one does:
1/ Midnight Passport
The integration skill. It teaches your agent to add Passport to your app:
- Passkey login with WebAuthn PRF secrets
- Night ID like alice.night
- A per-user custody contract
- Registry lookup, deposits and withdrawals
Secrets stay on device. Never stored.
2/ Example Passport Dapp
The runnable template. Clone and run the full flow on localnet:
Passkey onboard > deploy custody account > bind Night ID > deposit Night
Use it to learn, use Passport to build.

I build on @MidnightNtwrk with AI tools every day. Track 5 of the roadmap is the first one written for people like me.
Midnight calls it Reach, Cross-Chain & Dev Growth: extending privacy cross-chain.
Q4 2026:
• Cross-chain expansion
• Mobile SDK
• AI DevEx for builders
• Offer files
Q1 2027:
• More chains, private
• Midnight MCP and an advanced AI expert
• Build without code
• Cross-chain liquidity unlock
The AI lines are the big deal for builders. Right now my stack is [Claude Code + Midnight Expert + Kapa MCP]. The hard part is [one real pain point, e.g. AI tools not knowing current Compact syntax].
A first-party Midnight MCP means your AI assistant can work from Midnight's own docs and tools directly, instead of guessing.
And the cross-chain lines mean the privacy doesn't stay on Midnight. Other chains' users get to use it too.
Builders: what would you want a Midnight MCP to do first?
Track 5 on Midnight's roadmap: midnight.network/roadmap
"Midnight is run by a handful of companies." Right now, that's fair. Track 4 of the roadmap is the plan to change it.
Mainnet launched with federated operators, including Google Cloud and Blockdaemon. @MidnightNtwrk calls this track Scale and Sovereignty: better performance and decentralization.
Q4 2026:
• BABE staged migration: moving block production to a new system, step by step
• Block production rewards
• Bounty program for security bugs
• Faster sync for new nodes
Q1 2027:
• NIGHT staking with rewards
• Block production opens to the community
• BABE migration to mainnet begins
• Performance improvements
The order matters. Rewards and a bug bounty first, then staking and community block production. That's the path from a federated launch to a network the community runs.

Banks don't put customer money on public blockchains. Every balance and every payment would be visible to anyone.
Track 1 of @MidnightNtwrk's roadmap is built to change that.
Midnight calls it Institutional Issuance & Settlement. The goal: regulated money and assets on-chain, without broadcasting who holds what.
Q4 2026:
• Tokenized deposits: bank money as tokens, 1:1 with cash at the bank
• Shielded contract tokens: balances and transfers stay private
• Enterprise key support
• Serialization standards
Q1 2027:
• Programmable shielded assets: private assets with their rules built in
• Institutional-grade key security
• Real-world asset issuance, plus RWA standards
This is already moving. In March, UK bank Monument announced it plans to bring up to £250m of retail deposits onto Midnight as tokens. Only the bank and its customers can see the transaction data.
Would you hold your savings as a tokenized deposit if only you and your bank could see it?
@MidnightNtwrk’s roadmap now runs to Q1 2027. Seven tracks, and most people have only seen the headline.
Here’s the whole thing in plain English:

✅Starstream: privacy across different state models.
✅Nightstream: faster, smaller proofs.
Most of it lands in Q4 2026 and Q1 2027.
