Film critic Roger Ebert on Film Noir:
"The most American film genre, because no society could have created a world so filled with doom, fate, fear and betrayal, unless it were essentially naive and optimistic."

“You know, it's Halloween. I guess everyone's entitled to one good scare, huh?”

Tacos won't solve all your problems but they’ll make you forget about them long enough to momentarily enjoy life
Happy Halloween to all my film friends on here! Love you guys. I hope everyone has a great Halloween. I can’t wait to watch some spooky movies later!
I met David Arquette on my way out last night and he stopped to chat with me for a few minutes. Such a sweet guy. He asked me about my work there and even let me ramble about how my dad showed me Scream when I was 12 and how it scared the shit out of me. Good dude.

Excited to watch this on @tcm @BenMank77
Really enjoyed this one! A slow burn that pays off nicely. There’s something so unsettling about the idea of traveling with a friend and having them disappear. The isolation, the uncertainty, not knowing who to trust. It’s a simple premise, but genuinely terrifying. Watch this!!!
