Jerry Stackhouse used to sing the national anthem before NBA games.
As fans put it on the web, “I had no idea Stackhouse had pipes like that.” or “My boy sang in church”
Stack turns 52 today. From Kinston and UNC to the No. 3 pick in 1995, he became a two-time NBA All-Star.

It is honorable to speak up for those who can't speak up for themselves.
It is honorable to challenge lies, narratives, & gossip.
It's honorable to extend grace when people are in situations that you have NEVER been in or understand.
It's called having principles and values!

Trade: The #Ravens are finalizing a trade for former #AZCardinals QB Jacoby Brissett, per me and @AdamSchefter, filling the void left by the injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler “Snoop” Huntley.
The deal is expected to be completed this weekend.

#49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk has filed for reinstatement and is prepared to report to the team’s facility on Friday, per @AdamSchefter.
Once he does, San Francisco can’t turn him away. The options are to keep him, cut him or somehow find a trade.

Sources: tests revealed that Ravens’ QB Tyler “Snoop” Huntley suffered a season-ending turf toe injury.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is out indefinitely with a thumb injury, Huntley’s season is over due to turf toe, and QB Joe Fagnano will start Thursday night vs. Jacksonville.

We broke the Republican supermajority in Arkansas tonight. And we didn’t do it in one geography. We did it across the state and with a multi-generational slate of candidates who worked their asses off.
I am a proud ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT. 💎

Democrat Deb Haaland has won the New Mexico Governor's race.
She will make history as the nation's first Native American governor.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Haaland, a member of the Laguna Pueblo, will be the first female Native American governor of any U.S. state, not the first overall. Johnston Murray was the first Native American to be elected governor in the U.S.
