half-assed 2nd swedish crusade comic. One takeaway is that pagan fin is basically shrek he's a hermit and just wants to be left alone in his swamp. Earlier version had fin using a drum instead but decided ehh might as well go all out with the kalevala references (1/4)

2/3 usually I don't get why fin would be scared of sve if they've already lived together for centuries, but here I thought it could fit as a gag. The moose on the wall are in a similar formation to the swedish three crowns coat of arms. Moose's antlers r kinda like a crown

I should probably clarify that what tino does is a thing that happens in kalevala. Väinämöinen casts a spell to make the opponent drown into a swamp. I thought haha wouldn't it be cool if that was his last resort against the crusaders. But sve was just too fast 😔
