It was funny seeing Excelblem doing the “try to beat the game routless” challenge and be like “who tf are these people” when he got to this map and assuming they’re characters you learn about in part 1/2 but no, they literally never show up until here everyone else is as confused

just did the shortest possible part 3 clear of fortune's weave on hard/classic in terms of map count by not clearing any gates. this makes the final map a lot harder (powerful enemy minibosses spawn endlessly, 90 gate hp, you get basically no world map time)

strongest fortune's weave ring be like: gain +1 strength while using combat arts with a 3% probability but only if it's raining and a tuesday, by the way this thing also weighs 27 and tanks your effective spd to 0

one of the most messed up things about fire emblem fortune's weave is that critical hits aren't always divisible by three, because damage reduction can cause rounding to give you 1 more damage from the displayed amount in the preview. This is a real screenshot

fortune's weave launched 52 hours ago and I have now beaten the game on hard/classic difficulty without picking any of the routes or recruiting any characters. Doing the final boss with only 3 characters was kind of insane and only barely possible
